After studying the Saraswati Bal Mandir from childhood to class fifth, lack of further education of students remains a concern in Hapur. Keeping this object in mind reputed business persons of Hapur, social workers and educationists decided to set up an education centre where the best education can be given from class 6th to 12th and to make honest and patriotic children in whose hands the future of the country is secure. In July 1970 Vidya Bharti's first school from class 6th named "Saraswati Bal Mandir" with 11 students was started in the campus of Saraswati Shishu Mandir Kothi Gate Hapur and at the same time it was decided that this school will remain only for boys. Until 1987 education was provided for classes 6th, 7th and 8th on that campus. On 20th March 1988 this school was transferred to the present building situated at Modinagar Road Hapur. The inauguration of the building was done by the then chief of R.S.S. Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya). Till 1990 the school was affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Board with class 10th. In 1991, the Central Board of Secondary Education granted recognition from Delhi to class 10th — it was the first CBSE school of the town. Validation up to class 12th was received in 1994. Here the method of education preserves the values of Indian life while offering the scientific pleasure of studying. We do not seek only to elevate personal life but see the promise of service to Mother India.
To develop a National System of Education which would help building a generation of young men and women that is committed to Hindutva and infused with patriotic fervour; physically, vitally, mentally and spiritually fully developed; capable of successfully facing challenges of life; dedicated to the service of those of our brothers and sisters who dwell in villages, forests, caves and slums; and are deprived and destitute, so that they are liberated from the shackles of social evils and injustice and thus devoted, may contribute to build up a harmonious, prosperous, and culturally rich Nation. The first Saraswati Shishu Mandir began in Gorakhpur in 1952; state and national Vidya Bharati bodies later guided the movement, with Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan formed in 1977.
